Sybil Thorn is the spirit of creativity within the mind and soul of Megan Elizabeth Jennings.

Megan Elizabeth Jennings graduated from Presbyterian College in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater and English, with an emphasis in Creative Writing. She has worked as a freelance creator ever since.

She creates under the name Sybil Thorn because her creative work has never felt as though it comes from only one place. Inspiration arrives like a voice, a spark, a presence—something that moves through her rather than something she controls outright. Sybil Thorn is the name she gives to that creative force.

Born with spinal muscular atrophy, Megan, the individual behind Sybil Thorn, has used a wheelchair for most of her life. Disability is not an abstraction in her work—it is lived experience, perspective, and truth.
